Starting off the event will be exhibitions on August 25^th that will be held from 11:30-4:00pm. The pre-show begins at 5:00pm. On the 26^th races begin at 10:00am. with the 1^st Open Go. On the 27^th the youth will have a qualifying round at 9:00am. and then there will be a 2^nd Open Go. Finally on the 28^th there will be all the finals followed by awards and pictures.

All other activities commence on Saturday morning on the fairgrounds, with the fair beginning at 11:30 in the morning.

This July 20^th- 24^th come to the Dane County Fair in Madison WI and stay at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel. The Dane County Fair is great family fun for a low price. Children under 5 are free, children 6-11 are only $3.00 a day or $6.00 for all days, and everyone 12 and up is only $7.00 a day or $15.00 for all days! Parking is also free!

Carnival Rides

Ride bumper cars, rollercoasters and more at the Dane County Fair! Ride tickets are $1.25 each or buy an all you can ride wrist band for $25! Carnival rides start each day at noon and go until close every day except Sunday (on Sunday rides close at 6pm.).

Dane County Fair Exhibits include everything from caricatures to gyros to laser hair removal. There is something for every fairgoer. Food vendors will be selling popcorn, nachos, beer, burgers, ice cream, pizza, donuts, and more. Entertainment

On July 23^rd- 30^th the 2011 North American Unicycling Convention and Championship will take place in Madison WI. and you won’t want to miss it! Competitions will include street and flatland, unicycle hockey and basketball, artistic freestyle, track racing, mountain unicycling, and road racing. Register for events on July 23^rd beginning at 10:00a.m.

Topics for these types of workshops include Unicycle P.E. Youth Programs and Juggling.

This June 16^th- 18^th, take a trip to Madison WI to the WIAA State Softball Championship and stay at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel.

What a season it has been! This year over 434 teams participated in this softball tournament. It has come a long way since its start in 1976! Come out and cheer on your favorite softball team as they battle it out for the title of State Champions!

Division 1 will begin with quarter final games beginning on Thursday at 9a.m. Games will continue throughout the day with the last game beginning at 3:30p.m. Semifinal games will be held at 6 and 8p.m. on Friday. On Saturday one team will have a State Championship victory after the final game at 5:30p.m.

Division 2 will begin with semifinals on Thursday at 6 and 8p.m and will have its championship game on Saturday at 3p.m.Division 3 has its semifinals on Friday at 1:30 and 3:30p.m. and a championship game at 12:30p.m. on Saturday. Division 4 also has its semifinals on Friday but game times are 9 a.m. and 11a.m. Division 4’s championship game is 10a.m. on Saturday.
