This family friendly event will have entertainment, games, carnival rides, petting zoo, craft show, and 70 tons of sweet corn! That’s right! The Sun Prairie Sweet Corn Festival will have 70 tons of sweet corn to enjoy!
Entertainers include storytellers, live bands, dancers, karate demonstration, comedy, and juggling. Kiddie corner activities include mini golf, inflatable jumpers, and face painting. Older children (and adults) will enjoy the paintball arena, bingo, helicopter rides, and more!
The Sun Prairie Sweet Corn Festival begins on Thursday night with a parade down Main Street at 6:00 in the evening. On Thursday and Friday evenings there will be carnival rides, booths, and a beer tent. On these nights all you can ride wristbands can be purchased for $20 and your kids can enjoy carnival rides to their hearts content. All other activities commence on Saturday morning on the fairgrounds, with the fair beginning at 11:30 in the morning.
Make it a long weekend! With admission only $1 each day and children under 6 are FREE, you can afford to stay a little longer! You can also purchase a button for $1.50 and go to the fair anytime you want. After each day’s activities, come back to the comfort of your Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel room and relax and unwind.
