Looking for more racing? Then join our Dickens of a Run/Walk. This run/walk will take you through historic Stoughton so you can enjoy some beautiful scenery as you race. Awards will be given out for best dressed as well as top times.

But wait! There’s even more! Friday night has festivities like a tree lighting ceremony and beautiful music made by the local high school singers. Join the party afterwards at the Stoughton Performing Arts Center. Before you head back to the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel for your nightcap, check out one of Stoughton’s wine or piano bars.

On Saturday, there will be a Christmas Tree decorating contest where you can cast your vote for your favorite store Christmas Tree display, mistletoe for sale, Christmas stories at the library, plenty of shopping, and the Silent Fire Truck Parade. Take a tour of the city in a trolley or catch the Nutcracker that evening.

Sunday wraps up all the Stoughton Victorian fun with historical tours, singing and dancing, shopping, the great bed race, the Dickens Run/walk and more!

This November the Cheesefest will be wowing its attendees with all kinds of cheeses, cheese pairings, cheese seminars, and cheese tours. There will be hundreds of cheeses to taste in downtown Madison’s Monona Terrace at the Winchester Cheesefest.

If you wish to take a farm tour, there are three tour options. One option is the Wisconsin Artisan Cheese & Craft Beer Tour. You will help with the cheddaring process, sample cheese and craft beers, and have a delicious lunch. The second option is the Spring Green Cheese, Dairy Farm, and Taliesin Tour which show you and your party what Wisconsin is all about! Tour a cheese factory, check out Frank Loyd Wright’s buildings, and tour a farm. The third option is the Wisconsin Classic Cheese, Goat Dairy and Ice Cream Tour. This tour will leave you stuffed from the great cheese and ice cream!

In addition to cheese tours, there will also be plenty to do back at the Cheesefest’s center. The will be a Cheesfest Gala where there will be cheese after cheese to taste. There will be special cheese dinners with ten local restaurants working with cheese makers to make you amazing meals. Don’t forget to take in a seminar and learn how to make your own cheese, find out how to pair cheese with scotch, or debate international cheese v. Wisconsin cheese.
