Hotel Near Madison WI Dane County Fair

This July 20^th- 24^th come to the Dane County Fair in Madison WI and stay at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel. The Dane County Fair is great family fun for a low price. Children under 5 are free, children 6-11 are only $3.00 a day or $6.00 for all days, and everyone 12 and up is only $7.00 a day or $15.00 for all days! Parking is also free!

Carnival Rides

Ride bumper cars, rollercoasters and more at the Dane County Fair! Ride tickets are $1.25 each or buy an all you can ride wrist band for $25! Carnival rides start each day at noon and go until close every day except Sunday (on Sunday rides close at 6pm.).

Exhibits

Dane County Fair Exhibits include everything from caricatures to gyros to laser hair removal. There is something for every fairgoer. Food vendors will be selling popcorn, nachos, beer, burgers, ice cream, pizza, donuts, and more. Shopping vendors will be selling things like handbags, accessories, Costco memberships, bathtub liners, sunglasses, saunas, books, clothing, food supplements, and health screenings.

Entertainment

Entertainers include a hypnotist, a BMX Pro Stunt Team, and musicians of a variety styles. Some entertainers include: Frankie Ballard, Iyaz, Madison County, The Flying Wallendas, and Street Magic Live with Robert Smith. Don’t forget about entertainment for the kids! There will be a gymnastics area, a kiddie farm, and a youth stage that will host things like music, drama, and fashion.

Hotel Near North American Unicycle Championship in Madison WI

Stay at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel in Madison WI while attending the North American Unicycling Convention and Championship. On July 23^rd- 30^th the 2011 North American Unicycling Convention and Championship will take place in Madison WI. and you won’t want to miss it! There will be workshops to attend and many competitions to participate in or attend.

Competitions will include street and flatland, unicycle hockey and basketball, artistic freestyle, track racing, mountain unicycling, and road racing. Register for events on July 23^rd beginning at 10:00a.m.

Workshops cover a variety of topics. If you don’t know how to unicycle, check out the Learn to Ride Workshop, the Learn to Wheel Walk, Learn to Ride a Giraffe, and Learn to Stand-up Wheel Walk classes. Looking to improve your unicycling skills? Check out the Jumping Over People workshop or the Gliding Workshop. There is something for all skill levels. There are also topic workshops. Topics for these types of workshops include Unicycle P.E. Youth Programs and Juggling.
